Quick fix for John McCain’s unity issues

John McCain

Immediately after John McCain became the presumptive GOP presidential nominee Tuesday, discussion among party insiders immediately switched to what possible strategy the maverick Republican could use to unify the party.

McCain, himself, said he planned to reach out to people in different factions of the party the same way he has for the past several months on the campaign trail. He intends to meet and greet people and look for points of agreement based on American principals.

There’s nothing wrong with McCain’s approach, but there’s a more qualified person to unify the Republican party, said Nathan Gonzales, political editor of the Rothenberg Political Report, a nonpartisan newsletter based in Washington, D.C.

Hillary Clinton will be able to unify Republicans better than any Republican can,” Gonzales said.

“I don’t think there’s going to be people who have disliked McCain for years who all of a sudden are going to say, ‘Oh, he’s a great guy!’ But, if they say, ‘Oh well, President McCain or President Hillary Clinton?’ I think for a lot of Republicans, President Hillary Clinton is scarier than President John McCain,’” he said.

Ain’t that the TRUTH! Fred Thompson was the only true Conservative in the running and with him gone it really matters only that we defeat the Democrats. Talk about your “lesser of two evils” scenario! We can have a Liberal President or we can have a LIBERAL President. I’m moving back across our Southern Border where I know “who to pay and how much” to be a successful businessman. The US is, to me, what Bizarro Wold was to Superman: this just is not my Country anymore!!

The republican party can never be trusted again unless Rep Mark Foley is indicted. If anyone has committed a crime such as he had they would be in Jail. This issue will be brought up in the elections under the so called family value and conservative issue. all one has to do is ask McCain why he hasn’t been charged will sink the whole party. It is believed that the republican party is full of child molesters if you read the articles of boys town that have been posted in various books and online. Mr Mc cain would be smart by avoiding the so called Christian values in this election. All one has to do is look at all the male and female prostitutes and drugs related to those who call themselves Christian leaders or politicians until they are caught. Ummm Wondering why Rep Mark Foley hasn’t been indicted? I’m sure he has a whole lot of info on other right wing Christian politician with homosexual and drug addiction background. If republicans have a chance to correct our immoral society as they claim with the religious support then they should start with Mark Foley and those who abuse our children within the party and those organizations that support them.
