The White House
Sandy Whitehouse, who is one of Arizona’s official presidential candidates, is running for the White House on the strength of her name. Naturally.
“I’m running for president because my name is Whitehouse,” Whitehouse said. If elected, she said will consolidate the first and second lines of all presidential correspondence, thus saving the federal government money associated with printing the words “President Whitehouse” and the words “White House” on letterhead.
She told me that the savings would be used to fund universal healthcare, education for all children, grants to stop global warming and a guest-worker program. Furthermore, she would halt federal funding for war profiteers, atom bombs, fusion bombs, uranium weaponry, big talk and threats to under-developed third-world countries.
“I figure with those two objectives, I will be able to fund all the things this country needs,” said Whitehouse, a Democrat. Furthermore, she’s retired, so she has enough time on her hands to run the country, she said.
Whitehouse is a great-grandmother who lives in Corona De Tucson, which is just outside of
Tucson. She married into her presidential-sounding name decades ago. Her husband, Bruce Whitehouse, is Corona De Tucson’s fire chief. “It’s a good English name,” she said.
Whitehouse said she is running a self-funded campaign to avoid the scourge of lobbyists. So far, she has spent a total of 41 cents, which was used to buy a stamp to send her nominating paperwork to the Secretary of State’s Office, though she may double or even triple her cash outlay before Feb. 5.
Whitehouse said she is prepared to debate all her Democratic opponents, even frontrunner Hillary Clinton. “I like Hillary. I’m particularly found of her choice of husbands,” she said.
Whitehouse said she is counting on her own husband to vote for her, which brings her current projected vote count to precisely four. She said she is trying to secure three more – two grandchildren and a grandson-in-law. “I’ll have seven votes. And the way this is spread out over a large field, I could win, because I think that’s a solid block,” she said.

Sandy Whitehouse will also be one of 12 Democrats participating in Project White House, the Tucson Weekly’s Reality Journalism program. Eight of the 24 Republicans have also agreed to participate.
Project White House candidates will be vying in various political challenges to win the coveted Tucson Weekly endorsement, if not the Arizona primary. For more details, check out http://blog.tucsonweekly.com/.

Sandy Whitehouse is a person dedicated to the needs of her neighbors, as evidenced by her Community service in associations and fire district Board of Governors. She is incorruptable via any efforts of lobbyists, builders, and any
persons out for personal gain at the expense of public good.
She cares about the environment. If elected I believe her ‘neighborhood’ will truly expand to include the needs of all ‘Americans of good will’.
She has my vote for sure!

Sandy is my sister and I can attest to her intelligence and abilities. I have been with Sandy since 1976 and can attest that the statements by Mr. Suhocki and sister Roma Weaver are quite true. She is smart, witty, ethical, kind, and tries to help the envronment and the downtrodden people of this planet. She doesn’t take any guff from bullies, and she does her homework on issues that confront her and her friends and family. Gets my vote too.

As you can see my base is expanding by leaps and bounds. Many thanks to my supporters, but expect no favors. No cush offices in my government, no lucrative government contracts, and in the case of my husband, no home cooked meals.

The candidate is my mother. My Mom is truly the smartest person I know. If you ask for her opinion on any subject, she is able to provide a forthright, thoughtful, and well-informed answer. SInce the media like to have the candidates perform on command, pop quizzes, and alll. Mom can identify any county on world map and and she can also name their leader. She is a firm believer that the least of us deserve the most our society can offer, the poor, homeless, elderly, children; and she taught me to believe the same things. If my Mom ran the country, we’d all be better for it.

I’m Sandy Whitehouse’s favorite grandson (only grandson). Although I may differ in political views, I do know that my nana is one of the most intelligent and up to date people I know. Her intelligence, kindness, caring nature, and courage would make her a great president and no matter what, I still love her. Whitehouse in the whitehouse ‘08.

Many thanks to my loyal supporters, with over 90% of the votes in, I am in 5th position, just where I wanted to be. Two of the candidates receiving more votes than I have already conceded and, if the infighting continues between Candidates 1 and 2, I will retain my position as the leading candidate. The Kids Vote was wonderfully reassuring to me. If I decide to run in the future I have that block locked. So with my war chest spent, all 41 cents, and my hopes high, I march on to what may a resounding victory at the Convention in Denver.
